THE AGENT

I’m Dick Allwright of ALLWRIGHT PROPERTIES.  I was born and educated in Zimbabwe prior to emigrating to South Africa.  I am a South African citizen. On arrival in South Africa I went directly into selling residential real estate.  Soon after, I was appointed manager of one of the larger Sandton real estate offices, a position I held for seven and a half years before opening my own company.

At the start of my real estate career, I decided on-going education was essential in order to stay on top of a fast moving industry. I wrote and passed the Certificate of the Institute of Estate Agents, (C.I.E.A.), the Estate Agents Board exam, the Certificate of Residential Specialist (C.R.S sa) and the Diploma in Advanced Property Practice (Dip A.P.P I.).  I am also a past chair person of the Sandton area committee of the Institute of Estate Agents. We continue to attend property related seminars to keep up to date with new developments in an ever changing market.

I have also had a good deal of experience in dealing with sub-divisions of property in the Bryanston area and would be able to advise my clients in this regard.

Allwright Properties has been a great success in the Bryanston area from its date of inception. We have now been in operation for twenty five years, specialising in the Bryanston area and surrounds and have made enormous strides into the Bryanston market.  With the rapid increase in house prices over the past 7 years I have kept ahead of the pack and have achieved the status of being in the top 5% of estate agents country wide! I am enjoying tremendous on going support from both my buyers and sellers.  I am also members of the Property Association and the Institute of Estate Agents. 

I believe that South Africa is a great country and has a fantastic future despite all the negatives thrown at us and we believe that we are playing a major part in its development and transformation.  I believe that life is an attitude - I believe I have the right attitude - the positive attitude that turns houses to SOLD.
